Welcome to Mrs. Taylor's Web Page

I have lived in Yreka since 1971, and graduated from Yreka High School in 1984.  I attended College of the Siskiyous (AA), Southern Oregon University (BA/English Major), Simpson University (teacher credentialing), and I have been teaching at YHS since 2001.  Throughout the years I have taught Basic English (1, 2, 3, and 4), Regular English (1, 2, and 3), ESL Classes, Plato Learning Labs, and ASB.  I am currently the Learning Center, Work Experience, and Service Learning Coordinator.  I am also the Freshman Class Advisor, the Book Club Advisor, and the Academic Challenge Coordinator for the 2011-2012 school year.  I have five grown children, one granddaughter, and I currently live in Yreka with my wonderful husband and best friend, Al.  I enjoy living in our small community and feel blessed to be teaching at YHS.
